The winner was owned by Mr Howard Kaskel, bred in USA by Regent Farm and Mr Joseph Allen, trained by Barry Hills at Manton, and ridden by John Reid. The winner won by 3/4 length in 2 minutes 40.2 seconds, with 4 lengths between second and third.
